Voir ici

My real name is Isabelle Gasparini, I live in Morbihan in Saint Thuriau (56).
I am a self-taught visual artist, manipulating paper: this material that fascinates me.
It is after having made paper in the old way, in a paper mill, that I started to fold it, crumple it, cut it, tear it, put it in volume according to my imagination.
Flexible, fragile but paradoxically resistant once worked, it offers unlimited creative possibilities and I have been exploring its different facets and its potential since 2005.
To realize my ideas, I had to create my own tools, acquire over time different techniques of paper arts and invent others (the metal effect or the wood effect for example).
Little by little, according to my inspiration, I gave shape to many creations: sculptures, paintings, flowers and dresses (worn during fashion shows).
Nourished by visual arts and very diverse cultures (I am interested in all themes), my creations bring together distant and nearby traditions.
I am also an adept of "upcycling", whether it be with paper or other materials. See Déch'Art
I started my artistic activity in Toulouse, hence my artist name.
I have participated in many artistic events following my creations: craft markets, art fairs, collective exhibitions or two with friends painters, Fashion Week (You have an overview here).
